Vacation 2008: Part II Solvang

Midday Wednesday we packed up and drove a short distance north to Solvang. Again, we did a lot of wandering around shops and such.

Peer enjoyed a break playing in the park in the center of town.

Thursday we decided to take a little drive to the local wineries. We started with Gainey-- the oldest vineyard in the area. They had beautiful grounds and picnic area. PJ enjoyed playing there as well!

Here is a shot of our hotel in Solvang. Right in the center of town, it was great to be near everything. It's wonderful to never use your car!
