march so far

I told Andy there are far too few pictures of me nursing. So here you go. You'll be glad to know PJ gave up his year-long habit of sticking his hand in my mouth and has now moved on to sticking his hand down my shirt. Not sure which I'd prefer...

We got 2 new diapers and I LOVE them. They are both FuzziBunz. I got the first one because we were trying to fix our nighttime problem. (definitely making improvement, btw) I got the second one because Andy put the diaper bag on top of the car and drove away. So we lost a whole day's worth of stuff (maybe a hundred bucks or so). I'm still working on replacing it all. This FuzziBunz in the picture is a trains print. I think it's supposed to be a Thomas knock-off. It's really cute.

I think I lightened this pic too much. But I'm not going to fix it because it's late.

BTW, the FuzziBunz is working out because they are designed with snaps instead of velcro and the waist and leg adjust separately. So we can get a perfect fit. I also bought a couple of Indian prefolds which are unbelievably absorbant. One prefold can last all night-- amazing. The FuzziBunz are super-soft inside, too, so I think PJ likes them.

Everyday Living

Where are Peer's toes?

If you can't have meat, have beets! I was chopping vegies for a soup and decided these are quite possibly the most beautiful vegetable I have ever seen! They came in our CSA box that I picked up from the downtown LA Farmer's Market that I have been frequenting on Thursdays.

PJ loves his bath. I was actually trying to get some cute curly-head pictures here. He would only make silly faces at me.

February at our place

(I will put captions where they belong on this one-- underneath the photo. Silly me. )

Peer likes to throw. On Valentine's Night he threw his mail truck and I swear this is exactly where and how it landed. Barely missing that very expensive glass of Chuck. Our V-day was awesome, btw. At the last minute I walked to Ralph's and picked up the fixings for a spaghetti dinner and red velvet cake for dessert. After PJ went to bed we watched Moulin Rouge. A cozy night with my boys... what more could I want?

wanting to be picked up...

PJ loves to sit on his potty and play with his potty toy. Mommy is usually too much of a slacker to take his diaper off, though.

Being silly in a diaper and leg warmers...

January in Apt 101

Peer enjoyed playing at Dylan's house

Hard to tell in this picture, but Peer is holding the parts to my breast pump. Whenever he gets a hold of it, he holds it up to his chest and makes a "pumping" sound. (Daddy taught him) The other day, he saw my frozen milk in the freezer and did the same thing. So smart.

Second hair cut

Cousin Kevin's baby dedication at EV Free Fullerton, after which we all caught a horrible flu and were laid up for a week.
