Fun & Messy

I was very excited to sign PJ up for his first art class this summer. Just a simple 3-part class at the community center called Fun & Messy. He's really loving it! In this shot, he is painting outside with water. Who knew?!
Then he made a lovely butterfly craft by scratching...
Then we attempted to paint with pudding. It was literally his first taste of pudding, and he was definitely more interested in its culinary potential than its potential as a medium for painting.
But the final product was still not bad. Very Pollack-esque if you ask me.

Fondue Party

We occasionally do get fun times with friends after PJ has gone to bed. This was an especially fun time with the added benefit of hot melted chocolate and cheese. I stuck mostly with the chocolate.

The Chubby Bunny game had to be played with the extra marshmallows at the end, of course

Andy listening to some stories and rolling his eyes...
David took about 10 of these silly photos all narrating our conversation. Don't remember the conversation, but glad to have the silly pictures.

Mother's Day!

Celebrating the one who made me a mother... it will always only be him. =)
We went to the Aquarium in San Pedro. They had a really cool tank that you could crawl through and pop your head up in the middle. PJ loved it!

Every fish tank was greeted with a "Wow!" or a "whoooaaa"

We enjoyed a day at the LA Times Festival of Books. Andy was involved with the interviews that they put on throughout the day.
Here's just a snippet of our very fun evening routine. Peer loves the time after the bath when he gets to run around naked and then put on his favorite choo-choo diaper. Then it's storytime and snuggles until falling asleep.

Peer discovered Elmo's World on Sesame Street and loves to also think about whatever Elmo's thinking about. On this particular day, it was horseys.

Catching up with the blog. here's April:

We became members of the LA Zoo

We had two very fun Easter celebrations. Peer got a present from Mimi & Papa, but enjoyed cousin Rylee's gifts just as much.
Easter Egg Hunt x 2 = quadruple the fun
round off the day playing horsey with Daddy and Rylee
